My fault is a campaign of the Arts and Mental Health project. The following campaign is supported by Transparency International Cambodia (TIC), that aims to raise awareness and build women’s mentality by letting them know their rights, so that they would feel empowered and could wear anything they choose in public without fear of being accused of rape.
🌟 Our Vision
Our vision is to create a society in which women would not be judged by others when it comes to the clothes they wear, to show that rape is not associated with what women wear.
🤝 Our Mission
Our goal is to educate the public about the stigma associated with rape and women’s clothes through online and offline programs.
🎯 Our Goal
The purpose of this campaign is to build women’s mentality by letting them know their rights so that they may feel empowered and wear anything they choose in public without fear of being accused of rape. Women should not have to worry about social judgment or restrictions when they dress however they feel most comfortable with.
🔎 Problem
Because people believe that specific clothing is connected to rape, Cambodian culture has a tendency to look down on and blame women who wear a certain manner, typically in exposing clothing. This attitude prevents women from feeling confident in their own skin, which leads to mental health problems and unpleasant experiences.
